Yamaha has unleashed its first ever sports car at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. The car looks nothing less than a real life hypercar and Gordon Murray, the man behind the McLaren F1 legend, has designed it through his precise knowledge of technology and sports chassis.
The carbon fiber machine made by Murray has been build with a process called iStream, allowing multiple constructions using the similar method. The team was led by ex-Toyota designer Lezi Nagaya.
The car is 3900 mm in length, has 1720 mm width and comes with just 1170 mm of height. The concept weighs just 750 kg, making it exclusive with its carbon fibre built. The low weight would increase its power to weight ratio by a considerable mark. No details for the engine have been revealed at the event.
On a scale from 1-5 what would you rate the Yamaha Sports Ride Concept?
