Volvo S90 Unveiled Before 2016 Detroit Motor Show

Volvo unveiled the all new S90 at a special event in Gothenburg, Sweden. The car was expected to be seen at 2016 Detroit Motor Show in January. It comes with the next generation design language of Volvo, making it more sharp and future focused than any other car in the competition.

The car would come with 3 different engine options. One is a 394 BHP T8 plug-in hybrid whereas the other two are turbocharged T5 and turbo plus supercharged T6. Autocar India also reveals that 2.0 L diesel motor would be available for the India spec model.

The technology rich S90 would carry a lot of safety tech including the new Volvo’s City Safety System detecting large animals and automatically braking for the same. The other features include the Pilot Assist system up to 80 mph on motorways.

The car also includes a huge touch screen for better navigation and car controls. The S90 would be introduced in India in the last quarter of 2016.
