Tata's Pick-Up Truck, Xenon Yodha Launched at INR 6.05 lakhs

Tata Xenon from Tata Motors is a commercial pick-up truck. Tata recently launched the facelift version of Tata Xenon by the name Xenon Yodha in 4x4 and 4x2 variants. Yodha comes in both single cab and double cab layout options.

The single cab BSIII variant is priced at 6.05 lakhs and the single cab BSIV variant is priced at INR 6.19 lakhs. Xenon Yodha is powered by a 2956 cc engine which gives out a maximum power of 72 bhp and a torque of 223 Nm for BSIII variant and the BSIV variant generates a maximum power of 85 bhp and a torque of 250 Nm. The new Xenon facelift has apayload capacity of 1,250 kgs and runs on 16 inch radial tyres. The truck is loaded with 5 leaves front and 9 leaves rear suspension. The anti-roll bar feature helps provide on road and off road stability to the truck. It has a ground clearance of 210 mm.

Tata Xenon Yodha is built on a 3 layered body construction that minimizes cabin intrusion in case of a crash. It is loaded with other safety features such as crumple zones, collapsible steering column, retractable seats and side intrusion beams.

Other attractions on the offering include LFL propellor shaft which does not require greasing. the pick-up truck comes with a service interval of 20,000 kilometres. The new Xenon is further customized with an AMC package of 3 years/ 1 lakh kilometres and a warranty of 3 years/ 1 lakh kilometres (whichever is earlier ).
