TATA shortlists three new names for its upcoming hatchback Zica : Civet, Adore and Tango

With the Zica virus making headlines all over the world, Tata had decided to rebrand its upcoming hatchback. After scrutinizing over 37000 names, and engaging with over 4 crore fans, TATA seems to have shortlisted three names - Civet, Adore and Tango. Now, once gain, it’s time for fans to vote and finalize the name of Tata’s upcoming hatchback.

This new development indicates that car is nearing its launch, with some reports saying that the Tata hatchback with its new name would go on sale before the 31st of March.

The renamed Zica will be the first car to be launched on Tata’s new desingn language “Impact”. The upcoming hatchback measures 746 mm in length, 1647 in width and 1535 in height. Under the hood, the car will come with a 1.2 liter three cyclinder petrol engine, and 1 litre three cylinder diesel engine.

Expected to start at a price of 3.6 lacs. The re-named Zica will compete with Hyundai i10, Chevrolet Beat and Maruti Celerio.
