Tata Motors launches new Winger Dicor in Goa; BS4 compliant

Tata Motors have launched the Dicor luxury variant in Goa. In terms of design, the Winger is same as that of the current version. Winger is now available with a flat roof A/C and has a 9 +driver seating configuration with adjustable headrests and reclining seats.

The standard features on the Winger Dicor are: Monocoque construction with low noise vibrations harness levels, sliding door for easy access, power steering, least floor height, stylized halogen headlamps, Mc Pherson Strut Independent Suspension, stylish international design, load sensing prominent valve, 180 degree openable rear doors, and uniquely placed 60 litre fuel tank.

The dashboard remains same of beige with spacious interiors. Winger Dicor is available in deluxe flat/ high roof with A/C and non A/C variants with 12 + driver or 13 + driver seating configuration with HI back seats. The biggest update that Winger has is a brand new 2.2 litre Dicor engine which is BS4 compliant. This new engine can generate 100 bhp of power and 190 NM of torque. The engine is mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox with an improved clutch operation with new 215 dia faction hydraulic actuation clutch which helps to shift gears easily.

The suspension is taken care off by McPherson Struts with coil spring at front and Double Parabolic leaf spring hydraulic telescopic shock absorber at the rear. The Winger Dicor now has a fuel economy of 11.78 kmpl while not using the A/C on highway and 10.2 kmpl in the city. On the other hand, the A/C version returns 10.57 on higway and 8.29 kmpl in city rides. This has all been possible due to higher oil drain interval which has resulted into higher economy.

The safety features in Winger Dicor are: Load sensing positioning valve which helps in effective and faster braking along with Anti roll bar for roll over protection. Tata motors have strictly adhered to the AIS052 Bus body code complaint which includes fire extinguishers, battery cut off switch for the driver and vehicle disable switch for the co driver. Along with this, the company is also offering warranty of 3 years/ 300,000 kms warranty whichever comes earlier. In the launch celebration, Mr Jittesh Matonkar was handed over the keys of the newly launched brand new Winger Dicor. The Winger has got its key applications for route application, ambulance travel operators, schools, BPO/ IT Staff transportation and hotels and hospitality.
