Suzuki Hayabusa Price Drop, to be Assembled in India

Suzuki’s flagship motorcycle - The Suzuki Hayabusa will soon witness a price drop of Rs 2.0 lacs. This fall in price comes as a result of the Japanese manufacturer’s plans to assemble the super-bike locally.

Currently, the bike is imported as a completely built unit and sells at a price of Rs 16 lacs (ex-showroom). The 2016 Hayabusa will be assembled in Manesar where the company has built a dedicated assembly line for the Superbike. We can expect the locally assembled Hayabusa to cost around 14 Lac (ex-showroom).

The locally assembled Hayabusa has been launched in India with a price tag of INR 13.57 lakh. Everything remains same for the bike and the low price is expected to have a big impact on sales of rival Ninja ZX-14R, which now seems to be around INR 4.4 lakh pricier than the Hayabusa.
