Suzuki Gixxer Indian Production Model to be exported to Japan

Suzuki Gixxer India Motorcycle production is going to export the street bike in the corporation’s own home market in Japan. The first production batch has already left India to hit the Japan market to meet the customer demand.

Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director of Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited exclaimed it as a “proud moment” for the company. Previously the Indian production of the company was exporting Suzuki Motorcycles to markets in Latin America and other neighbouring countries.

This is a big step ahead for Suzuki Motorcycles India and it means two things, the India operations have achieved the high quality benchmarks required to qualify for Japense market and now the Indian division has a larger global role for the company.

The Suzuki Gixxer which is exported to Japan is powered by a 155 cc single cylinder, liquid cooled engine. The bike runs on a 5-speed gearbox and comes with enhanced SEP technology. The technology helps give more power to the bike’s performance without compromising the fuel effeciency of the naked street bike.
