Royal Enfield Himalayan Recalled for Clutch and Engine Problems

Royal Enfield has issued a recall for its newly launched Himalayan in India. The sudden craze for these new products go down within the community as news of recalls are increasing day by day. Recently, Yamaha has also recalled its R3 due to some clutch issue.

Himalayan is said to have a problem in its rocker shaft and the clutch assembly. These parts would be inspected and replaced free of cost at the service stations. The purpose built motorcycle may gain negative popularity as even it is currently selling in very low numbers.

The Himalayan is powered by a 411 cc, long stroke engine producing 24.5 BHP and 32 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and claims a price tag of INR 1,55,500.
