Last year US based company Motorola launched Moto G (2nd Gen) In India at the price of INR 12,999 which is now available at INR 9,999 after several price cut. Today company has come up its 4G version dubbed as Moto G (2nd Gen) 4G. It is available in ‘Black’ and ‘White’ color options and costs INR 8,999. You can get this smartphone from pre-order via Flipkart app from October 15, 2015 during the ‘Big Billion Day’ sale. The 3G version of this handset is expected to get a price cut during the sale after this week.
As far as specifications are concerned, it shares the same features used in 3G variant. It has got a large 5-inch display with 1280x720 pixels resolution with ‘Corning Gorilla Glass 3’ coating which protects the screen from scratches and fingerprints. It is a dual SIM smartphone whose dimensions are measured as 141.5×70.7x 6.0-11.0mm and weighs at 155 grams. It has been used a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB RAM which is sufficient for running multiple applications smoothly.
Storage wise, it comes loaded with 16GB internal memory which can be further expanded through microSD card. It works on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) OS. In camera section, it has an 8MP primary camera with LED flash which supports 720p video recording at 30fps. It uses 2MP secondary camera for selfies and video calls. It has dual front-facing speakers. On the connectivity front, it supports Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G and 4G LTE. It is backed by a 2390mAh battery with sufficient talk time and standby time.
