Mercedes AMG GT Roadster Revealed: Photo Gallery Inside

Mercedes AMG has revealed the upcoming GT Roadster, bringing in a new variant for the open top car that is not currently available in the hard top version. The GT Roadster uses the same 4.0 L, twin turbo V8 producing 476 HP and 630 Nm of torque. The car comes mated to an AMG SpeedShift DCT 7-speed transmission.

The newcomer to the world is named GT-C. The model is actually a mid variant between the standard GT-S and GT-R. It produces a max of 557 HP and 680 Nm of torque, making the values less by just 28 HP and 20 Nm from the mighty GT R. The new GT-C claims a top speed of 316 kmph.

The GT C comes with extra race transmission mode, uses the same mechanical features as the AMG GT R and AMG Ride Control Sports suspension. The roof opens up in 11 seconds and can be moved when below 50 kmph. The roof can be had in Red, Black and Beige shade.
