Lamborghini is back in news and how! The iconic supercar manufacturer came up with a faster upgrade to Lamborghini Aventador named Lamborghini Aventador S. The new version is more powerful, has better dynamics and looks more aggressive as compared to the standard Aventador.
The first thing you notice about this upgrade is that Lamborghini Aventador S is the new bumper alongside front splitter. The company claims that the new bumper produces 130% more downforce which aids for smoother handling of the car. The car also gets a rear wing movable to 3 positions. The rear bumper too gets a black diffuser which also comes in carbon fibre.
The Aventador S update comes with the same carbon fibre monocoque chassis as found in Lamborghini Aventador. This model of Lamborghini also comes with the first ever four wheel drive system for any car from this company. it comes with an updated push rod and also Lamborghini Magneto-rheological Suspension ( LMS), which now has been tuned as per new four wheel steering system.
The Aventador S is powered by a powerful 6.5 litre, V12 (naturally-aspirated) engine which gives out a power of 730 bhp ( as compared to 690 bhp for Regular Aventador ). The car has a maximum torque of 690 Nm. The engine comes paired with Lamborghini’s independant shifting rod (ISR) with 7 speed transmission. The car has a top speed of 350 kmph and makes it from 0 to 100 kmph in 2.9 seconds.
Lamborghini comes with 4 driving modes - Strada, Sports, Corsa and Ego modes with last one being an addition. The car also gives you a customizable option to change the car’s drive-train and suspension settings for the requirements.
Aventador S also comes with TFT touch screen display as standard which is compatible with Apple CarPlay. Lamborghini telemetry system is also an extra option. The system helps record track time and lap performance for enthusiasts.
Overall, you can say that the car has not only impressive performance figures but it comes packed with high line features too exclusively to the delight of fans. Aventador S will start delivery by April 2017.
