Google Nexus 6P Officially Announced Starting at $499

Google has announced a new Nexus series smartphone, Google Nexus 6P today. It’s a successor of ‘Nexus 6’ smartphone which was manufactured by Motorola. The latest offering is manufactured by a Chinese venture Huawei. The company has loaded this wonderful device with various trending features like fingerprint sensors and reversible USB Type-C port. It has three memory versions on offer including 32GB / 64GB / 128GB.

Talking about the spec list, [Google Nexus 6P][1] packs a 5.7-inch Quad HD AMOLED display at front with 2560x1440 pixels resolution and company has also coated Corning Gorilla Glass 4 technology for protection. It comes powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 810 64-bit processor at the heart with 3GB RAM and Adreno 430 GPU. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It has a measure of 159.4 x 77.8 x 7.3mm, HxWxT respectively as its dimensions and it weighs at 178 grams.

It supports a single Nano SIM. For the photography, it comes equipped with a 12.3MP primary camera which offers LED flash, IR Laser assisted autofocus, slow motion at 240 fps, f/2.0 aperture, smart burst and 1.55um pixels as its special features. For selfies, it brings 8MP front-facing camera with 1.4um pixels. The connectivity features of the phone are 4G LTE/3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, USB type-C and GPS. It also offers 3.5mm audio jack and dual front-facing speakers.

There are total three color options available in Google Nexus 6P such as Graphite, Frost White and Aluminium. The 32GB model is priced at $499 (INR 32,925 approx.), while 64GB version has a price tag of $549 (INR 36,220 approx.). The 128GB version of the phone is priced at $649 (INR 42,820 approx.). All the models are available to pre-order in some countries like UK, US, Japan and Ireland.
