Honda’s facelifted Brio hatchback has been finally launched in India at a starting price of Rs 4.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The car has gone some changes on outside and some major changes on the interiors. The facelifted Honda Brio is available in three trim levels – E, S and VX. The top trim gets the option of the automatic gearbox.
The Honda Brio has undergone cosmetic changes on the outside which includes a grille with a gloss black finish, tweaked tail-lamps and redesigned bumpers. The interior no more features oddly designed dashboard and gets a new instrument cluster, upholstery, digital air-con controls. The revamped Honda Brio has now got all-black interior for the top trim level and biege upholstery for the lower trims.
The top variant now comes with new audio system with Bluetooth connectivity and hands-free telephony. The safety features includes ABS, dual front airbags, impact mitigating headrests and seatbelt pretensioners. Powering the Brio will be the same 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol motor as in the outgoing model. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox and same five-speed torque converter unit in Brio Automatic. However, a diesel option is still missing in the Brio.
The new and refreshed look for Honda Brio would definitely fetch high sales for Honda.
