FAA releases guidelines over carrying Samsung Galaxy Note 7 when flying

FAA(Federal Aviation Administration) was likely to put a ban over carrying the Samsung Galaxy Note7 when flying. However, the ban is yet not imposed but certain guidelines have been released by FAA for the passengers carrying the Note7 on board a flight.

The official statement from the FAA follows as:
“In light of recent incidents and concerns raised by Samsung about its Galaxy Note 7 devices, the Federal Aviation Administration strongly advises passengers not to turn on or charge these devices on board aircraft and not to stow them in any checked baggage.”

FAA has taken up a good initiative by asking passengers to not use the Galaxy Note7 or charge it while are on-board a flight because all incidents reported happened while the Note7 was on charging. Other regulation by FAA involves not to keep handset in any checked in baggage as the combustion may be a result of friction or physical damage.
