EICMA 2015, the motor show held in Milano, Italy from 19-22 Nov 2015 showcased nearly 60 motorcycles in concept, update as well as a brand new form. The top 8 most loved and desired motorcycles, which took no time to get as popular as possible have been listed below.
1) Yamaha MT-10
Yamaha brought a totally different product from all the others at EICMA 2015. The alien design inspired all new MT-10 from Yamaha was the star of the event, catching more eyes than any of the product being present at the show. The motorcycle can be termed attractive, no matter the response stays positive or negative.
Powering the same is a 998cc, inline 4-cylinder, liquid cooled and fuel injected engine. This makes it good for an expected 165 HP and 102 NM of torque. The MT-10 uses the same engine and underpinnings as the Yamaha YZF-R1, resulting in excellent running and handling dynamics. The engine has been tuned for better low to mid range torque.
More important features include traction control, ABS, 1400mm of short wheelbase, upright riding position, fully adjustable suspension and full LCD instrument console.

2) Ducati Scrambler Sixty2
Ducati showcased all its products for the year 2016 at EICMA 2015. The most appreciable from all of them was the Ducati Scrambler Sixty2. The motorcycle is the most affordable Ducati till date. It was expected to be named as Scrambler 400 before the arrival of its official name.
The Sixty2 uses a 399cc, L-Twin engine producing 41 HP @ 8750 rpm and 34.3 NM @ 7750 RPM. The gearbox being used is a 6-speed unit and Ducati made it quite light with a dry weight of 167 kg.
Dual Channel Bosch 9.1 MP ABS has been installed on the motorcycle, with the front using a single 320mm and the rear using a single 245 mm disc brake. The product can be a hit on the Indian shores as it would arrive in India in the year 2016.

3) 2016 KTM RC 390
One of the most closely known product to the Indian motorcycle lovers, the Austrian KTM RC 390’s 2016 model was unveiled at the EICMA 2015. The most surprising fact being that it now comes with a side exhaust.
The engine of the bike remains the same 373.2 cc, single cylinder motor producing 43 BHP and 35 NM of torque. The bike additionally gets switchable ABS and slipper clutch for the upcoming model.
The design of the motorcycle remains the same as the current version whereas the ride by wire technology makes it more refined than ever. It also gets a bigger 320mm disc brake from Brembo for safe riding and better braking experience.

4) Ducati XDiavel
The first of its kind from Ducati, the XDiavel was a sports cruiser with the iconic Diavel muscularity and more practicality than ever. The newcomer featured a belt driven system instead of chain driven on other motorcycles worldwide.
The motorcycle is powered by a 1262 cc, Ducati Testastretta DVT, dual spark engine producing 156 HP @ 9500 rpm and 128.9 NM @ 5000 rpm. The torque is achieved at a relatively lower rpm for a relaxed riding experience. It comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The XDiavel will also make its way into the Indian market in 2016. It would be offered in two trims named XDiavel and XDiavel S.

5) Benelli Tornado 302/300
The fully faired version for the TNT 302 (TNT 300 for India) was also one of the most attractive product on the list. The low price segment could make it a bestseller as the price for the same is expected to stay close to INR 3,20,000 for the Indian market.
The bike comes with the same 2-cylinder 300cc engine producing 36 BHP @ 12,000 rpm and 27 Nm @ 9,000 rpm. The gearbox is a 6-speed unit and the bike has been made to cope with Euro 4 emissions. Weighing 180 kg, the Tornado 300 seems to compete with the Yamaha R3 and Kawasaki Ninja 300.

6) Hyosung GD450 Prototype
The Hyosung GD450 was the most attractive and valuable model from the company. It’s sharp and futuristic design was the hint for a totally new range of products for the future lineup of Hyosung.
The bike was powered by a 449cc, single cylinder engine producing 49.3 BHP and 47.7 NM of torque. The values when evaluated with 162 kg of body weight makes the bike a more powerful option than the market dominator, KTM 390 Duke. The front and rear brakes use 300 mm 4-piston caliper and 230 mm 2-piston caliper respectively.

7) Ducati Panigale 959
The most beautiful offering from Ducati for the EICMA 2015 was 959 Panigale. The shortlisted candidate here gets a bigger engine than its predecessor, the 899 Panigale. The bike here uses a 955cc, L-Twin engine producing 157 HP @ 10,500 rpm and 107.4 NM @ 9,000 rpm.
The gearbox is a 6-speed unit with Ducati Quick Shift technology. The front uses twin 320mm disc brakes whereas the rear unit is a 245mm. The bike weighs 195 kg and comes with a 17 liter fuel tank.
The US variant of the 959 Panigale uses underbelly exhaust whereas the European version gets twin exhausts due to Euro 4 emission standards.

8) KTM 1290 Super Duke GT
The king in terms of road presence and one of the most awaited global product, 1290 Super Duke GT was a masterpiece at the EICMA 2015. The motorcycle was quite bulky as compared to all the others on the top motorcycle list. It comes with the same 1301cc engine as the 1290 Super Duke R.
The engine is good for 170.3 BHP and 143.7 NM of torque. It gets a 23 liter fuel tank and 6-speed slipper clutch assisted transmission. Front twin disc brakes measure 320mm whereas the rear brake is a single 240mm disc unit.
