Ducati has imported the the XDiavel, the XDiavel S, and the HyperMotard 939 into India which defines a possibility of launch of these bikes in Indian two-wheeler market. All these units may be launched during the festive season and that’s why they have been recently imported in August 2016.
Both the Ducati XDiavel and XDiavel S are high-performance cruisers and get its power from the 1,262 cc L-twin, dual-spark, liquid-cooled engine. The powerful engine is able to generate around 154 BHP at 9,500 rpm, and 128.9 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission and is operated through a slipper clutch.
Both of these bikes are equipped with full ride-by-wire system that offers different riding modes as per the rider’s requirements. Besides, the features on offer are: Ducati Safety Pack (Bosch cornering ABS + DTC), Cruise control, DPL (Ducati Power Launch), Backlit handlebar switches and Hands-free.
The changes on the XDiavel S in respect to the standard Xdiavel are: full LED lighting with DRLs, infotainment system, a Bluetooth module, and machined finish on the engine belt cover, alloy wheels and mirrors.
The third Ducati bike HyperMotard 939 is powered by a 937 cc Testastretta 11°, L-Twin, liquid-cooled engine, that can develop 111.4 BHP @ 9,000 rpm and 97.9 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine runs with ride-by-wire arrangement and the transmission is done by a 6-speed gearbox. The features that comes along with it include: riding modes, Ducati Safety Pack (ABS + DTC), power modes, heated grips, anti-theft system, and sat-nav.
