Maruti Suzuki has launched a new limited edition Swift known as ‘Glory Limited Edition’. It is based on the VXi/VDi variants and comes with host of additional features. The VXi variant is priced @ Rs. 528,818 and the VDi is available for 619,823. Mechanically, there are no changes and Glory Limited Edition comes with same petrol and diesel engine options. Both the variants are equipped with ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution).

Maruti Suzuki has launched a new limited edition of its most selling car, the Alto K10. The move is said to counter the increasing demand for the feature loaded Renault KWID. Known as ‘Urbano Edition’, it comes with loads of features on a standard Alto K10. The car remains the same in terms of performance and Maruti Suzuki counts a total of 18 changes to the vehicle.
The basic changes start with an addition of rear parking sensors into the car. For the visual pleasure, Alto K10 gets heavy chrome treatment on ORVM’s, fog lights, tail lights and wheel arches. The interior gets leather seats with matching steering cover, ambient lighting, LED door sill guard and Bluetooth hands-free kit. The USB fast charger would help the passengers by keeping their devices charged all the time.
The 1.0 L, 3-cylinder petrol engine produces 67 BHP and 90 NM of torque. It gets the same 5-speed manual as well as the AMT unit. The kit has been priced at INR 16,990. They will cover everything being offered on the KWID but missing the touchscreen infotainment with navigation would still make the Alto K10 feel a bit behind in the technology race.

The blend of style and smartness, the new WagonR Avance comes with features like dual tone dashboard, double din music system and premium seat fabric. It even gets the option of rear power windows. It would be available in 3 colors namely Superior White, Glistening Grey and Silky Silver.
Duster Explore edition brings cosmetic updates to both interior and exterior of the car. This makes it look sportier than the earlier version. Additions include race stripes, dark chrome front grill, double barrel headlamps and chrome finished tail light. The Explore edition also gets anthracite alloy wheels instead of the silver on other variants.

These include the mighty SUV Safari Storme, the little Nano, the aged Indigo and Tata Bolt & Zest combo. Nano gets the benefit of two different packs namely Standard(INR 10,500) and Premium(24,999). The Premium on the other hand provides sunroof with the above additions to the Nano.

The peppy hatchback Bolt gets Celebration edition graphics and badge, black textured roof and bonnet, illuminated scuff plate and sporty rear boot spoiler. All this is offered with a premium of INR 12,900. These features would cost INR 17,800 is availed without celebration pack.
Tata Zest gets a special addition in the celebration package which features new exterior color and wheel covers, anniversary embroidery on front seats, remote controlled rear windscreen curtain, console mounted bottle holders and illuminated scuff plates. The ORVM’s are also finished in Piano Black. It is available for INR 15,000(original cost INR 31,000).
Indigo gets seat and steering wheel covers, mud flaps, drivers kit, Celebration Edition body graphics and badge. All this is offered in INR 7,000 in the Standard package. The Premium package includes all these plus an audio system, making the package higher at INR 10,000.
Despite of being carried over in the recent emission controversy, the German carmaker Volkswagen has launched 2 special edition models for its two very special cars for the Indian market. The popular hatchback Polo gets new additions like elegant seat covers, fully black roof, sun blinds, body side moulding and carbon fiber finish on ORVM & centre console. The changes have been made to the highline manual transmission trims of the Polo. Surprisingly, no premium for all the additions has been charged and Polo Exquisite gets the same price as the normal Polo highline.

The price of the new highline Plus Vento has been raised by INR 29,000. This makes it for INR 10,96,000 for the highline plus diesel variant. This offer is only valid in the month of October, helping the company boost its sales to the possible extent.
Toyota has launched a special edition for their most economical offering, the Etios Liva in India. The festive season car gets a starting price of INR 5.76 lakhs and comes with additional features safety features like dual SRS airbags and load limiting front seatbelts.

Fiat has officially launched the new limited edition model for its diesel Punto Evo Active. Named as the Fiat Punto Sportivo, the model has been launched for a price tag of INR 7.10 lakhs. The newcomer gets exclusive styling features and a lot more utility than a normal Active variant.
The first thing to be seen is the white roof of the Punto Sportivo. It gets chrome on its front and rear for lamp surroundings and also gets chrome tipped rear view mirrors. The car also gets the same old alloy wheels from the first generation Punto.

Hyundai has listed a Celebration Edition after excellent sales in the 1st year of its premium hatchback, the i20 Elite. The car has been launched at INR 6.69 for the petrol Sportz variant and INR 7.84 for the corresponding diesel variant. The surprising fact for the new edition is that it will be only available in White shade.
