The 86th Geneva Motor Show is all ready with brand new, mouth watering machines from different manufacturers, revealing the power of upcoming technology in the world of cars. Officially started on 3rd March, the 11 day long event is hosting a number of exotic and rare supercars along with the 2016 face-lifts for various everyday cars.

2016 Geneva Motor Show witnessed the fastest and most aggressive cars from reputed brands like Bugatti, Koenigsegg, Lamborghini and Ferrari, providing a never ending aroma of speed and power at the venue in Geneva, Switzerland.

Here is a list of cars which have been completely unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

  • Bugatti Chiron

Bugatti’s new crown jewel, Chiron is a successor to the world famous speed record holder, Bugatti Veyron. The car is a beast as it’s 8.0 L, W16 has been reconstructed from scratch and made to prove itself in the performance world. The quad turbocharged car is good for a 2.5 second 0-100 kmph sprint. The same takes 6.5 seconds for 200 kmph and 13.6 seconds for 0-300 kmph.

Performance figures are outstanding as the output is 1500 PS @ 6,700 rpm and 1600 Nm @ 2000-6000 rpm. It comes mated to a revised 7-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox.

  • Koenigsegg Regera Hybrid

The name is quiet familiar but adding Hybrid has nothing to do with economy side of a car. Instead, Koenigsegg’s Hybrid means a 1800 HP hypercar with a peal torque value of 2000 Nm. The car is good for 0-100 kmph in 2.8 seconds, 0-200 kmph in 6.6 seconds and a 0-300 kmph of just 10.9 seconds.

The new Chiron feels quite low when a difference of 2.6 seconds appears in the 300 kmph sprint. The lightweight 1628 kg of kerb weight is good for this ultra fast sprinting time of the Regera Hybrid.

  • Lamborghini Centenario

This year marks the 100th birthday of Lamborghini founder Ferruccio Lamborghini and Centenario is a pure tribute to him. Limited to just 40 examples, the car would cost £1.64 million each. The car gets much sharp body than the Aventador and flaunts the Asterion type tail light.

The engine powering this one of a kind machine is a 6.5 L V12 with 759 BHP. The most powerful production engine ever in a Lamborghini, the car weighs just 1520 kg. All the 40 examples have been sold and no two are expected to look alike due to heavy customization by the buyers.

  • Audi Q2

A moment of cheer for those who love Audi, the new Q2 has been finally unveiled after a lot of teasing and trailers on the internet. The newcomer inherits the body design from the familiar new generation of Q family and presents the luxury of an Audi in it’s compact body shell.

Surprisingly, the car weighs just 1205 kg and takes nearly 405 liters of luggage into the boot. It comes with a 1.0 L, 3-cylinder TFSI engine with 114 BHP and many more options ranging from 1.4 L petrol as well a 1.6 L diesel motor. The standard car carries a 6-speed manual gearbox whereas the top trim with 2.0 L engine would get a S-tronic gearbox.

  • Skoda Vision S Concept

The much awaited SUV Concept from Skoda, Vision S has been finally unveiled at Geneva Motor Show. The SUV gets premium touches include a great all new interior and an imposing front fascia. Vision S is powered by a 1.4 L TSI engine along with 2 electric motor, totaling the output to 225 BHP.

0-100 kmph takes 7.4 seconds whereas the top speed is limited to 200 kmph. It measure 4.7m in length, 1.91m length in width and 1.68 m in height.

  • New Honda Civic Hatchback

Honda’s priced possession, the premium sized Civic hatchback now comes in it’s 10th generation. Being 130 mm longer and 20 mm wider than the current car, the new generation Honda will get 3 petrol motors, with the Type R getting a 2.0 L revised 300 bhp engine.

  • 2016 McLaren 570GT

A more real life variant for the car, 570GT gets a more luxury wrapped interior along with a rear boot for more practical supercar approach. The car uses the same 562 bhp, 3.8 L twin turbo engine from the 570S. A total of 350 liter boot space is available on the car. The GT weighs just 1350 kg and brings more refined approach on a bit of rough roads than the 570S.

  • Jaguar F-Type SVR

The new F-Type SVR from Jaguar is a bit faster at 200 mph and prices starts from £110,000. The car comes with a 5.0 L supercharged V8 and produces 567 bhp. The car is an all wheel drive variant and comes with 8-speed ZF variant.

  • DS E-Tense Electric Concept

The car comes with a two seat, 402 bhp configuration and what’s more interesting is that it claims a 224 miles range from a single charge. The center console watch on the car is detachable and can be used as a wrist watch whenever required.

  • Spyker C8 Preliator

After the official merge with Volta Volare, Spyker’s first product comes out as a successor to the C8 Aileron. A total of 50 examples will be made and prices will start from £303,000.

The car gets it’s power from a 4.2 L V8 engine, supercharged to produce 518 bhp. Interior is hand stitched whereas the exterior gets all the modern appeal of an ideal sports car.

  • Techrules TREV

The TREV in the name stands for turbine-recharging electric vehicle. The hypercar comes in two variants, one with an ‘Aviation Turbine’ powered by liquid fuel and other with natural gas or biofuel as the source. The 6 electric traction motors combine to form 1030 bhp of total output and a 2.5 second, 0-100 kph sprint time.

  • Lotus Exige Sport 350 Roadster

The open-top version for it’s beautiful and light Exige Sport 350 is as great as it’s hard top version.It weigh just 1085 kg and uses the same supercharged 3.5 L V6 producing 345 bhp. It takes just 3.7 seconds for a 0-100 kmph sprint.

  • Porsche 911 R

Providing a R model for the famous 911, Porsche has given the right blend of racy stripes and a pure looking 911 for the fans. 500 hp, rear wheel driven car comes with a 4.0 L naturally aspirated petrol engine. R marks the return of manual gearbox to the 911 as this one uses a short throw 6-speed gearbox for the transmission duties.

  • Apollo Arrow

The brand formerly known as Gumpert and now called as Apollo presents the Arrow as a hypercar with 4.0 L, bi-turbo V8 producing 986 bhp in it’s most insane tune. It can sprint from 0-100 kph in just 2.9 seconds and comes with an overall low weight of just 1300 kg.

  • Italdesign GTZero

An all electric range of 311 miles makes the GTZero special among other unveiling’s at the Geneva Motor Show. More surprisingly, the car maker claims that 80 percent of the car’s battery is charged in just 30 minutes.

  • Pininfarina H2 Speed

Hydrogen powered H2 speed gets a lightweight fuel cell along with two race spec electric motors, making it the first production hydrogen powered track car of the world.

  • Aston Martin DB11

The legendary DB series still goes on as the successor to the DB9 has been unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. Based on a new structure, the DB11 can race from 0-100 kmph in 3.9 seconds. It uses a new 600 bhp, twin tubo V12 with a top speed of 200 mph. The car is expected to cost around £154,900.

  • Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport

When every car manufacturer has their supercars on display, Chevrolet didn’t stayed behind and presented the middle placed Corvette Grand Sport at the Geneva Motor Show. The car gets a naturally aspirated V8 engine produces 460 bhp, with Chevrolet offering this variant in rear wheel drive version only.

  • Koenigsegg Agera RS Final

The upgraded twin turbo 5.0 L V8 is good for 1341 bhp and weighs 15 kg less than the standard car. This makes it really aggressive when it comes to high speed racing and track based performance.

  • Rimac Concept S

Concept S from Rimac is an all electric hypercar with a 0-100 kph sprint time of just 2.6 seconds. The car costs £676,000 and comes with a top speed of 221 mph.

  • Lexus LC500h

Lexus brings a green future with no compromise in luxury and performance through the LC500h. The hybrid setup on the car is good for 295 bhp and promises a 2+2, most comfortable layout out of all the cars in its class.

  • Ferrari GTC4Lusso

Better known as Ferarri FF, this new facelifted version gets a new name and a lot of upgrades. The power has been pulled up to 680 bhp and 0-100 kmph can be achieved in just 3.4 seconds. The price for the car would definitely rise with this new facelift.

  • Touring Superleggera Disco Volante Spyder

The car is made on demand and it takes nearly six months to complete a single example of this Alfa Romeo 8C Competizone based car. The 444 bhp motor is good for a 4.5 second 0-100 kmph sprint.

  • 2016 Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupé

The performance version for the new C-Class gets 3.0 L twin turbo V6 petrol motor producing 362 bhp. The car rides on new 18 inch alloy wheels.

  • Arash AF10

Powered by a 5-part hybrid powertrain, the new flagship AF10 produces 2080 bhp. The petrol engine of the car is good for 900 bhp whereas 4 electric motors to the wheels are good for 295 bhp each.

  • Zenvo TS1

Powering the new, improved TS1 is an all new lightweight 5.9 L, twin supercharged V8. This makes it good for a 233 mph of top speed and only 15 units of the car would be made ever.

  • Radical RXC Turbo 500R

The car maker still holds the record of Nürburgring lap time of 6 minutes and 48 seconds. Through the RXC Turbo 500R, they plan to cut the time more as the car produces 100 more bhp and weighs 60 kg less than the record holding SR8.

  • Abarth 124 Spider

The much awaited version with open top and Abarth engine is finally here. Price around £31,000, the car features 179 bhp engine with 6-speed short throw gearbox. The 0-100 kmph sprint takes 6.8 seconds and gets pure 50:50 weight distribution.

  • Abarth 124 Rally

If Abarth 124 feels under-powered to a pure car enthusiast, the 124 Rally is a piece of performance as it produces 296 bhp from it’s 1800 cc turbocharged engine. Using lightweight material, the car also uses a roll cage along with different inner details than a normal Abarth 124.

  • Maserati Levante

The first ever SUV from the luxury automaker, Maserati Levante is a good competitor for the F-Pace. It uses standard air suspension, 4 wheel drive and provides a good 0-100 kmph sprint time of 5.2 seconds. The car uses 3 engines out of which 2 are petrol and 1 is a diesel unit. All the engines are 3.0 L and provide a good 36.9 mpg for the diesel variant.

  • Bentley Mulsanne Grand Limousine

The luxury stretches further with the new Bentley Mulsanne in it’s limousine avatar. The car has 4 seats at the rear with foldable tables, bottle cooler and other features at the rear. The smart glass between the first row of seats and the rear portion can be switched between transparent and opaque.

  • Rolls-Royce Black Badge

Applicable on Ghost and Wraith models, the Black Badge defines the dark side of Rolls Royce. The spirit of Ecstasy and all other chrome parts are finished in Black. Interior gets a dark theme with blackened air vents, carbon-fiber finish and bespoke center piece clock.

  • Toyota C-HR

The mid sized crossover from Toyota comes actually with a coupe like low stance and further, a SUV like high ground clearance. In short, it would serve as a more practical product with it’s full hybrid 1.8 L engine. It would also get 1.2 L turbo engine with 114 bhp.

  • Volkswagen T-Cross Breeze

An affordable Range Rover Evoque by design, T-Cross is a great option when it comes to crossover styling and fun of a roofless coupe.

  • Volvo S60 Cross Country

The cross country version of the S60 now comes with 178 bhp, 2.4 L diesel engine. It fascinates people with it’s SUV like ground clearance.

  • Borgward Projekt BX6 TS & BX5

Both these cars have been placed below the BX7. BX5 uses a 258 bhp engine with electric motors whereas BX6 TS produces a peak of 422 hp.

  • Ford Fiesta ST200

Defining the actual meaning of a hot hatch, ST200 produces 197 hp from it’s 1.6 L turbocharged Ecoboost engine. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, sprinting from 0-100 kmph in just 6.7 seconds. New alloy wheel design and a special Storm Grey shade makes it look unique from every other Fiesta built till date.

  • 2016 Alfa Romeo Giulietta

The new Giulietta hatchback comes with new trim division and TCT dual clutch gearbox. Along with these changes, a new honeycomb grill and black inserts in the bumper.

  • 2016 Hyundai Ioniq

The first fully focused hybrid from Hyundai, making out in 3 total options as a full hybrid, an electric car and a part time hybrid. It will be the first car to use 3 electric powertrain options under a single, sedan body type.

  • SsangYong SIV-2 Concept

The car will go on sale in 2018 with hybrid as well as EV powertrains. It would get a reduced CO2 output and a bigger size than current generation Tivoli.

  • SsangYong Tivoli XLV

The stretched version of Tivoli named XLV would soon launch in Europe and provides more spacious approach to the compact size of the Korean crossover.

  • 2016 Renault Scenic

This 4th generation Scenic is good for 20 inch wheels, short overhangs and 10 color options in total. A practical MPV with 572 liters of boot space for £21,000 is a good option indeed.

  • Subaru XV Concept

Gaining a much more aggressive stance than the older generation, XV Concept is shorter and wider while offering the same wheelbase as the car sold in Europe.

  • Renault Mégane Sport Tourer

The new generation car is expected to carry 2 petrol as well as 4 diesel engine options. It also has an option between 6-speed manual and automatic transmission. It is more luxurious than ever and would get a hybrid version by 2017.

  • Fiat Tipo

The Tipo was revealed in hatchback as well as estate version at the Geneva Motor Show. Tip offers 2 diesel and 3 petrol engines internationally. The estate version offers a lot more practicality through huge boot space than the hatchback Tipo.

  • Kia Niro Hybrid

Niro combines the hybrid technology with the practicality of a crossover. Featuring a lightweight, 33kg hybrid setup, Niro is good for 139 bhp from it’s combined system.
