Bajaj Pulsar AS 150 & AS 200 get BS IV Upgrade

Contrary to the popular rumours that Bajaj might shut down it’s AS150 and AS200 variants, the company has come up with a BS IV upgrade for its variants instead, recently launched in Pune, Maharashtra.

And according to fresh reports both the models are in continual production, however to this point it is unclear whether the changes with respect to the new BS IV upgrade have been made or not. The company does plan some aesthetic changes for Pulsar AS 150 and 200 models.

The Bajaj Pulsar AS 150 model comes with a 149.5 cc DTS-i twin spark engine. It gives a power of 17 PS at 9,500 rpm and 13 nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. It has an air cooled engine with 5-speed transmission. Priced at INR 81,230 ( ex-showroom Delhi ) it comes in colours Blue, Black and Red.

On the other hand Bajaj Pulsar AS 200 comes with a much more advanced 199.5 cc DTS-i engine which gives a power of 23.5 PS at 9,500 RPM and 18.3 nm torque at 8,000 RPM. It has a liquid cooled engine with a 6-speed transmission. Like AS 150 it also comes in the same standard colours Red, Blue and Black. It is priced at Rs. 94,780 ( ex-showroom Delhi ).
