According to a report by Money Control, Bajaj Autos is ready with not just 1 or 2, but 3 Avenger models for the Indian market. The sudden news feels good as Avenger is one of the prized possessions of Bajaj Autos and fans all around the country were tired asking about its launch dates.
The most expected version of the Bajaj Avenger would be the 199.5 cc, 1-cylinder engine version with a power output of 23.17 BHP and 18.3 NM of torque. It will get a 6-speed gearbox and would be the best update to the currently selling Avenger.
The other two are not so sure models, carrying 149 cc engine from the AS150 in one variant and the least possible 373.2 cc motor from the upcoming Pulsar RS400 and CS400. The chances for the 149 cc with 5-speed gearbox are pretty good and the second possibility can also be the fuel injected version for the 199.5 cc engine.
Bajaj expects a 5 times sales growth with its new models, focusing basically on all the segments of cruiser motorcycling. Most probably, the good news can be with us in the next 24 hours. The series can be expected to be under INR 1,00,000 tag(excluding the chances of a 400cc version).
