Fiat has internationally revealed the recently spied pickup vehicle and has named it as Toro (stands for Bull in Italian). The Fiat Toro was spotted at a Brazilian factory on the assembly line and in less than a month, the official news of being it is here in the industry. Toro seems to be a new machine from its looks but Fiat has also revealed that it is based on the Jeep Renegade.
The teaser image is based on the topmost trim of the vehicle whereas the one spotted was a base variant, missing the LED lights on the front. The Toro is expected to be with a number of Fiat engines including the powerful 170bhp, 2.0 L Multijet diesel engine. It would be offered in both 4x2 and 4x4 trims and would get a luxury 5 seat arrangement inside the cab.
When it comes to the real work it has been made for, the Toro gets payload capacity of 1000 kg. It will also get the option of automatic gearbox and top trim would be loaded with facilities like a 5 inch touchscreen with navigation, rear view camera and 18 inch wheels. It will be currently sold in South America only.
