2013 Hyundai Elantra Recalled by Hyundai USA

Hyundai has launched the all new Elantra in India yesterday while the 2013 variants of Elantra in USA have been recalled for faulty brake lights, covering more than 64,500 Elantra’s in total. The problem seems to cause confusion among others where the lights are not automatically turned off after even pulling the feet away from the brake pedal.

The car maker had the first case in 2014, followed by more in 2015 and 2016, forcing the company into a recall where they will fix all of them at no cost to the user. The brake light sensor will be replaced and won’t take that much of customer’s time.
