A recent video from Youtuber Hari Rajan shows how good the Bajaj Dominar 400 actually performs on the Indian roads. The company claims a top speed of 148 kmph while the rider is able to get 167 kmph on the speedometer in a short period of time. Well, its not the first time that a motor cycle shows speedometer error but the thing is different in this case.
Firstly, if the error is actually this big, it won't get a clear justification from the company. They cannot let production motorcycle with such big issues on sale. Secondly, if Bajaj intentionally provided the lower figure, why would they do so? Everyone will once think of driving it as fast as possible and everyone will get to know the real figure.
Not just that, Hari Rajan also managed to race the same against a KTM 390 Duke. Doing the same on public roads was not a good option at all but still, it gives a clear idea how the motorcycle performs in real world conditions. People are awaiting a correct reply from Bajaj Auto about both the cases in which the bike touched such high speed mark.
