HP has launched the world's thinnest laptop, beating the Apple Macbook (13.1 mm) by a margin of 2.7 mm. The new Spectre measures just 10.4 mm in its width. Carrying a 13.1 inch edge to edge display, the laptop supports 1080p resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
Customers get 6th generation Core i5-6200U on the base trim while the option of Core i7-6500U is also available on the Spectre. It comes with 8 GB of RAM and upto 512 GB SSD option. The Spectre has a battery backup of 9 hours and 45 minutes.
The laptop uses 3 USB type-C connectors, Bang & Olufsen speakers, carbon fiber underbody and weighs just 1.1 kg. It runs on Windows 10 and comes with a back-lit keyboard. it would be available on sale from 25th January while the starting price has been kept 1,19,900.
