The wait is finally over as Tata is going to launch it's much awaited premium level MUIV. Tata Hexa is going to replace Tata Aria in the segment. Hexa has a muscular impact design which is designed in three studios of Tata in India, Italy and the UK. The car is loaded with various features such as touch screen infotainment console and 8 way adjustable driver seat.
The all black interiors give a sporty feel to the car. Hexa also has smartphone integration and voice recoginition to accomodate. But it does not have Apple CarPlay or Android Auto but provides ConnectNext App Suite.
Tata Hexa is powered by a 2179 cc engine which generates a maximum power of 148 bhp and a maximum torque of 320 Nm ( for the XE variant ) and a maximum power of 154 bhp and a torque of 400 Nm for all other variants. Hexa is available in various transmission modes such as a 5 speed manual, a six speed manual and a six speed automatic gearbox. It is packed with 19-inch alloy wheels and has a ground clearance of 200 mm.
The manual gearbox variant of Tata Hexa comes in both all wheel and rear-wheel drive while the automatic variant of the MUV comes only in rear wheel drive configuration. Tata Hexa has a muscular finish on the front giving it a very sturdy aesthetic look. This MUV is Tata's attempt to offer something premium in the segment. Tata Hexa is mainly a rival to Toyota Innova Crysta in the semgent but it can also be seen as a competitor to Mahindra XUV500.
Tata Hexa looks like a very promising product this time around and has been launched in India at a price tag of INR 11.99 lakhs ( ex-showroom Delhi ). The price list for all 6 variants has been listed as follows :

- XT Manual 4×2 – Rs 16.20 lakh
- XMA Automatic 4×2 – Rs 15.05 lakh
