Suzuki Gixxer has finally started reaching its deserved heights as it recently clocked a 10,000+ unit sale number in the month of October 2015. The bike has truly gained the benefits of the festive season and set a new milestone for the declining sales of other Suzuki products day by day.
From its first day of launch, Gixxer had the required potential of being a superstar among other bikes of the segment. The most affected one from all was the king of street bikes, FZ and FZS. The Suzuki Gixxer possessed ideal designing and caught the need of time for a more effective street fighter.
Later, it was joined by its faired version, the Suzuki Gixxer SF and its MotoGP edition. At the last, the dual tone street fighter version joined the league of the new Hero. Gixxer series is powered by a 154.9cc, air cooled engine producing 14.6 BHP and 14 NM of torque. The gearbox on each bike is a 5-speed unit. Sharp rear end, chiseled fuel tank and wide tyres symbolises the presence of the mighty Gixxer.
A rear disc version of the Gixxer has been spied testing and it may launch in the coming months in the country. The Gixxer series comes within a price range of INR 75,000-84,939.
