After the last year release of OPPO's entry-level A37 smartphone in China, it has now finally introduced the smartphone for global markets. This new smartphone weighs 136 gm with a dual sim feature. It has got a beautiful 5-inch HD screen with 2.5D arc edge glass and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with ColorOS 3.0.
The phone has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The OPPO A37 has a quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC and not the octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor. The phone has 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM along with 16 GB internal memory which can be expanded to 128GB with micro SD card.
The phone features dual (nano) SIM support along with dedicated SIM. It also has microSD slots in a single tray whereas the Chinese version has hybrid sim slots. The phone has 4G LTE connectivity and has a 2630 mAh built-in battery.
Priced at $199 (Rs. 13400 approx.) the new OPPO A37 will be available in Gold, Grey and Rose Gold color options. The phone is already launched in Singapore and will be launched on June 25 in Indonesia. Soon, it will spread across the global markets as told by the company.
