Xiaomi announced two of it's major smartphone series updates with Xiaomi Redmi 4x and Xiaomi Mi 5c, both announced today.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4X is a budget smartphone with 5 inch HD 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 SoC processor. The smartphone features a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash with a 5 mega-pixel front facing camera. The unibody design also features a finger print sensor and a 4100 mAh battery. The phone is available in two variants of 2GB RAM with 16 GB storage and of 3GB RAM with 32 GB storage.
The Xiaomi Mi 5c is a successor to Xiaomi Mi 4c which makes use of a similar 5.15 inch 1080 p display. the smartphone runs on an Android 7.0 (Nougat) and has a fingerprint sensor emebedded on the home button. Just like the Xiaomi Redmi 4X it also has a unibody metal design. It runs on a 2.2GHz Xiaomi Surge S1 64-bit Octa-Core processor with quad-core Mali-T860 GPU. The smartphoen features 3GB LPDDR3 RAM with 64 GB internal storage. The phone features a 12 megapixel camera with LED flash with 1.25 μm pixel size and 8 mega-pixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture. The phone features 2860 mAh battery and weighs 135 gms in weight.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4X is available in Champagne Gold, Cherry Pink and Mate Black Colors. Teh smartphone is priced at 699 Yuan ( US $101/ Rs. 6790) for the 2GB variant and for 899 Yuan ( US $130 / Rs. 8730 approx ) for the 3GB variant. On the other hand Xiaomi Mi 5c is available in Rose Gold, Gold and Black colors.
