The compact SUV rival from the homegrown automaker, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has been confirmed for an official launch at the Auto Expo 2016. The surprising fact is that is it would be sold through normal Maruti Suzuki dealerships instead of Nexa.
The point clears itself as Maruti Suzuki would place the S-Cross at a premium whereas the Vitara Brezza would get a place slightly below its price range. They don't want to offer 2 cars with a same price tag under the Nexa. The car comes with an excellent design and brings practical approach through its 90 PS, 1.3 L Multi-jet engine sourced from Fiat.
The gearbox is expected to stay 5-speed manual whereas there are very few chances of 4WD or an AMT in the start. The tough competition from TUV300, Ford Ecosport and others in the segment would really test the worthiness of the car being a compact SUV for the urban riding fun.
