Maruti Suzuki has launched the awaited RS variant for its popular sedan, the Ciaz in India. The disappointing factor for the same is the missing 1.6L Multijet diesel motor, which would have proved a gem to the premium feel sedan of Maruti Suzuki.
The car gets a modified exterior with added lip spoiler, side skirts and a rear boot spoiler. Everything else has been kept the same, with the engines performing the same as older variants. The 1.4L petrol motor is good for 91.1 BHP whereas the 1.3L diesel motor produces 88.8 BHP.
The RS variant is available on Z+ trims of both petrol and diesel engines, carrying the features like smartplay infotainment system, front dual airbags, ABS and many more. The diesel variant gets the SHVS technology for a class leading 28.03 kmpl mileage.
