Honda CB Hornet 160R was recently launched with AHO in India. The model was the first one to enter India with BS4 compliant engine while still, it was sold with heavy discounts during those two days of March 2017. Honda stated that it was because of lack of AHO on the bike as no bike without AHO would be sold after 31 March 2017 in India.
Then came the bigger confusion. Honda officially decreased the power values of Hornet 160R, making customers even more surprised in this case. Why would a bike that is BS4 compliant at its time of launch loose its power after April 2017. The reason from Honda claimed that all time headlight on was the real problem as it even consumed some power.
Shocking claim from Honda seems one sided as no other manufacturer has claimed a power drop in their case. Fans were disappointed with the news as a matter of confusion evolved from the statement as they don't know whom should they believe in this case.
