2017 TVS Jupiter has been spotted in its new avatar, carrying the mandatory AHO feature and BS4 compliant engine on its recently spied model. There has been no visual differences in all the models while the changes can be seen in the reshuffling of the variants on the 2017 year TVS Jupiterl.
The option of disc brake can now be had in the ZX variant while it was once exclusive to the MillionR edition TVS Jupiter. The executive scooter carries BS4 stickers on the front panel and rear mudguard. Apart from these changes, the company is now offering SBS (Sync Braking System) on the Jupiter.
The feature helps the scooter brake effectively as pressing the single left lever helps divide the brake force on both the wheels of the scooter. The engine stays the same 109.7 cc, air cooled unit while the performance values are undisclosed at the moment. The earlier version was good for 8 PS and 8 Nm of torque.
Since the scooter was spotted at a dealer backyard, it can be expected to launch in the next few days. TVS can bring a change of approx INR 500-1000 in the price tag of the 2017 Jupiter. However, it can still let the popular commute stay under INR 50,000. It rivals Honda Activa and Hero Maestro Edge in its segment.
