The dream of getting faster than a Ninja ZX-14R came true at the moment when an Australian engineer, Vincent Messina built a 8-cylinder ultra bike capable of sprinting above 340 kmph and producing more power than a sports car.
Yes, the Aurora Hellfire OZ26 is a 2,575cc V8 motorcycle producing 417 HP @ 9,500 rpm and 319 NM @ 7,000 rpm. Carrying a dry weight of 265 kg, the motorcycle would accelerate madly as it gets the best possible power, torque to weight ratio in 2 wheeler segment.
Controlling so much of power requires 10 level traction control, ride by wire throttle control, various riding modes and Motec M1 ECU. The motorcycle comes with twin carbon ceramic disc brakes by Brembo at the front and rides on 17 inch ZR rated tyres. The front measures 120/70 whereas the rear is 190/50.
The suspension on the front is Hossack-type double-wishbone setup with single piece carbon fiber upright and billet alloy framework holding an electronically adjustable Ohlins TTX shock. The rear uses a multi-link setup with anti squat and anti dive characteristics, providing greater stability at very high speeds.
The design has been made by Australian designer Tim Cameron whereas Vincent Messina wishes to produce the motorcycle in a limited number at a state of the art facility in Thailand from 2016.
