Adding another legend to its A6 sedan line-up, Audi has launched a top-spec trim to its petrol-powered A6 sedan line-up. The Audi A6 Matrix 35TFSI has been officially launched at a price of Rs 52.7 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is a higher variant of the A6 35 TFSI spec priced at Rs 48.10 lakh.
Powering the new sedan is a 1.8-litre turbo petrol unit that can develop 190 Hp of power and 319.6 Nm of torque. The transmission is done by a S Tronic dual-clutch automatic gearbox and power is driven to the front wheels. The new A6 Matrix misses out the quattro system.
The A6 Matrix features special S-Line body kit, distinctive Matrix LED headlamps, 18-inch forged hollow spoke alloy wheels and dynamic turn indicators which differentiates it from lower trims.
Along with these special features, A6 has got infotainment setup with a larger 8.0-inch touchscreen with navigation and an MMI touch system, Bose sound system with 14-speakers, adaptive air suspension, eight airbags( with two rear-side airbags) and a comfort key feature with hands-free and gesture-based boot opening technology.
The A6 petrol would give a tough competition to BMW 520i priced at Rs 54 lakh and Mercedes E 200 petrol priced at Rs 49.93 lakh and also the second-gen Jaguar XF expected to be launched soon.
