After introducing 4G Advanced Technology( carrier aggregation across TD LTE and LTE FDD) in Kerala and Mumbai, Airtel has introduced the same in Bengaluru as well. This will offer a faster 4G experience with 4G data speeds up to 135 Mbps.

Surendran, CEO – Karnataka, Bharti Airtel Limited said on the launch, "Airtel has led the rollout of 4G services in Bengaluru and with the deployment of 4G Advanced, we are taking a quantum leap in delivering a superior mobile broadband experience to our customers in the IT Capital of the country. With the additional network capacity, customers in Bengaluru can look forward considerably improved data speeds and better coverage".
Earlier also, Airtel had launched 4G services with 2300 MHZ band in 2012 in Bengaluru on the 2300 MHz band with the TD LTE standard and now it has added 1800 Mhz more capacity band with FD LTE. The carrier aggregation deployment combines the capacities of TD LTE (2300 MHz spectrum band) and FD LTE (1800 MHz spectrum band) to deliver better services with increased efficiency.
