The wait is finally over. After much of a buzz KTM has finally launched the 2017 editions of their fully faired sports bikes, the RC series in the 390 cc and 200 cc segment.
The 2017 KTM RC 390 comes with some great visual enhancements also now loaded with technology. The ride with wire technology introduced on the bike make's the rider's experience even better. The ride with wire technology helps the bike to get a right throttle, making the riding much more sophisticated. It also gets a new exhaust which is BS IV compliant.
The RC 390 uses the same 373.3 cc liquid cooled engine. The 2017 edition of RC 390 gets an all new shade with different graphics. It also gets a bigger 320 mm front disc brake.
The KTM RC 200 on the other hand gets some cosmetic changes with more or less the same configuration. With the same performance now the 2017 KTM RC 200 gets aligned to BS IV emission norms in India. The 2017 edition of the bike comes in white and Orange shade.
The KTM RC 200 is powered by a 199.5 cc liquid cooled engine which generates a maximum power of 25 PS @ 10,000 rpm and gives out a torque of 19.2 Nm @ 8000 rpm. The RC 200 misses out on ABS which is a letdown. The bike has orange finish allow wheels with 300 mm / 230 mm front and rear disc brakes. The 2017 RC 200 is placed in the same segment as Honda CBR 250R and Bajaj Pulsar RS 200.
