Kawasaki Ninja 300 was recently launched in its 2017 variant in India. The starting price for the same is INR 3.64 lakh, kept unchanged from the last year's price tag. Kawasaki has introduced the same model with a BS4 engine, making the nearly 6-year old motorcycle ready for upcoming sales restriction after 31 March 2017.
Ninja 300 is powered by a 296 cc, twin cylinder engine producing 38.5 BHP at 11,000 rpm and 27 Nm at 10,000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox while the motorcycle claims a top speed of 182 kmph. Kawasaki Ninja 300 could be the next most affordable motorcycle in the lineup as their is no word on the update of Z250.
2017 Ninja 300 would now have a restricted reach as the tie-up between Bajaj and Kawasaki recently came to an end. This would make it limited to just 12 dealerships across India. The motorcycle is available with a new grabrail and sari guard on its body. It is the most selling Kawasaki bike of all time in the country.
