Honda Shine recently got an year on update and now support BS4 complaint engine on the 2017 model. It was launched at a price tag of INR 60,467 and comes out as third model with lesser emissions after the CB Hornet 160R and Unicorn 160. Apart from the engine change, there are few other changes on the motorcycle.
The carburetor cover is now finished in Chrome and the same change can be seen on exhaust muffler. The taillight design has been updated while the 3D emblem on the fuel tank in now more eminent. They have not yet cleared the status of AHO on the motorcycle. Honda still retails three different variants for the CB Shine.
The given price is for the base self drum alloy model while the other two are self disc alloy (INR 62,926) and self disc alloy CBS (INR 66,015). The difference in price is between INR 500-700 for all the models. The higher spec model, CB Shine SP is still running under the BS3 version of the 125 cc engine.
